Operational draft
Privacy Policy
TrialSignal is a clinical trial intelligence workspace. This policy explains how the service handles account, billing and product usage data. It is intended for research, diligence and professional workflow use.
Information we collect
We collect account details such as email address and optional professional profile fields. When you purchase a report, credits or subscription, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, but we do not store full card details.
How we use information
We use personal information to authenticate users, operate the dashboard, manage report access, process purchases, send transactional emails, maintain security, and improve trial intelligence workflows.
Clinical trial data
The platform indexes and normalizes public clinical trial records, primarily from ClinicalTrials.gov. Reports may include AI-assisted analysis and source-linked metadata. User searches may trigger ingestion of additional public records.
Service providers
We use Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, Vercel for hosting, and OpenAI-compatible AI services for analysis and normalization workflows.
Retention and access
Account and billing metadata are retained while the account is active or as needed for legal, security and accounting purposes. Users may request access, correction or deletion where applicable by contacting the service operator.
Security
We use server-side protected routes, role-based database access, rate limiting on sensitive endpoints, and payment processing through Stripe. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
